First days on the road!

Finally left the city!
About 50 km's from Geraldton decided to stop for the night. Found a safe place next to the Highway.
The van is stuffed with boxes filled with all sorts of tools from the previous owner, so I kinda placed the inflatable bed on top of it and used a beachtowel as a blancket.
Spent the night tossing and turning trying to fit most of my body under the towel and trying to find a way to make my back hurt as least as possible.
After sunrise it started to warm up so at least one of the problems was delt with. I got in a few hours of solid sleep before the heat woke me.
Onwards to Geraldton, to stock up on food, a blancket and pillows and a cooler.
I have been looking for a new carradio since the one I got gives me the silent treatment. Asked at a Super cool car parts shop and guess what, I need a special one and it needs rewiring... Just my luck...
It gets dark at aprox 19h00 so drove to a place called Oakabella cost me9AUD per night, has a shower and toilet!  Found it in my Camps 7 book.
Googled it and..it is known do be the most haunted place in WA (oakabella.blogspot.com/).
Woke up at about 9 am after a good nights sleep, but sweating from the heat outside. Took a stroll around the place which used to be a farmhouse. Very friendly host called Loretta told me a little about the worthwhile places to visit in the area.
After a good cup of coffee I was back on the road heading for Kalbarri.
Drove past the Pink Lake. It looks like liquid bubble gum! It gets its colour from the green alga: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_Lake_(Western_Australia)
Finally in Kalbarri decided at 15h to call it a day and checked in to a caravanpark with pool, bbq, shower etc...
