After 2 weeks in Perth it is time to finally hit the road and do what I came here for. Explore nature and see as many awesome sights as possible!
My stay at the YHA was aside from the noise of the train passing by and the not so back friendly beds, very good. Met two great Italian dudes. They gave me a lot of useful tips!
Perth is not my thing, I am not a big city kinda guy, and there is nothing really interesting to see here. Took the sightseeing bus and was the worst 30AUD I spent...
Wasn't as easy as I thought it would be to find a 4wd van. But eventually the previous owner of Wanda the bush bus placed her for sale notice on the wall in the YHA, and the rest is history.
Paid 2350 AUD for her, she is an oldie, bit rusty and slow, but she is reliable, well that is what I was told...fingers crossed.
Got a third party insurance and roadside assistance, cost me 165AUD and 79AUD.
